Kearney Clinic Financial Policy

  • We do our best to accommodate patients' insurance and payment needs; however, patients are ultimately responsible for all charges whether or not they are covered by insurance
  • Kearney Clinic attempts to keep fees competitive while still maintaining quality care. Patients without insurance are requested to pay for the charges on the day of service.
  • Patients who have in-network insurance are to pay their co-pays on the day of service. Insurance coverage is not a substitute for payment.
  • Any balance carried beyond 60 days is assessed a 16% finance charge. No balances should be carried beyond 90 days without prior arrangements made with the Credit Department.

Insurance, Fees & Payment Options

Please bring insurance cards with you to each visit. If you have a change in your insurance, please notify the registration desk at the time of check-in. The handling of claims varies depending upon the type of coverage; however, all form preparation is completed on a daily basis and sent electronically to the insurance company. Kearney Clinic accepts Nebraska Medicaid, and managed care plans - Nebraska Total Care, Wellcare, UHC Medicaid and Kansas Medicaid. Charges as a result of hospitalization or surgical services provided by Kearney Clinic physicians will appear on your monthly statement.

We accept cash, personal check, money orders, Travelers Cheques, debit cards and all major credit cards for payment, as well as Care Credit. Please call ahead if you have questions to patient accounts at (308) 698-1537.
